For an introduction to this vast and beautiful place - spend 7-nights on a fly-in package which would include just some of the highlights of this beautiful land. For example visit Sossusvlei which features some of the highest sand dunes in the world, which are breathtakingly beautiful with their red colour.
Enjoy a night in the charming town of Swakopmund - perched at the edge of the desert with its wonderful German architecture and character. It offers a wide range of activities from sand boarding and quad-biking to skydiving and camel riding.
Spend 3 nights in the Etosha area, the prime game viewing area in Namibia. See herds of elephant, back-maned lions and the world's largest population of black rhinos, which roam the plains of Etoasha National Park. When the air turns hot and dry, life is drawn to one of Etosha's 86 fountains, springs and waterholes. Simply wait for the animals to come to you at these watering holes - herds of wildebeest, lines of zebra and groups of ostrich emerge out of the heat haze to drink at one of the seeps found at the edge of the Etosha Pan.
Return to Windhoek, the largest city in Namibia as well being its Capital City. Spend a night before flying back home.
With more time - other points of interest can be included:
- Skeleton Coast
- Damaraland with its desert adapted elephant
- Sera Cafema - interact with some of Africa's last remaining nomadic tribes
- Fish River Canyon - the second largest Canyon in the world
- Visit the hauntingly beautiful former mining town of Kolmanskop
